The American puppeteer, animator, actor, and filmmaker lived here from 1979 until his death in 1990. The Henson Organisation also bought 1b Downshire Hill to use as a puppet workshop. Some of the magical creatures you see in Labyrinth, starring David Bowie, were made there.
