In 2003, Jade Goody managed to buy herself this house in Harlow Essex, reportedly for £250,000. Not bad for the star who had been famous less than a year and was clearly earning big. This was Miss Goody's first house purchase in her life, however soon in 2005 she bought herself a newer more spacious home in The Gables, in Ongar for £495,000. In 2007 Jade upgraded again but this time to a more country retreat for which she splashed out £750,000 for the converted barn conversion, set within communal gardens. Jade Goody however died in 2009 after a short battle against cervical cancer. Jades legacy lives on, as the worlds first reality TV star, a down to earth lady with a huge love for life. Her grounded it attitude is reflected in her lifestyle. Despite been worth £4M+ she remained living in houses worth less than a million pounds. She drove second hand motors, up until 2008 when she purchased a £130,000 Bentley.
